Ms. Nivedita Dubey serves as Member (Human Resources) on the Board of the Airports Authority of India (AAI), and is the first woman to hold this position. An International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)-accredited International Airport Professional and an ICAO-certified trainer, Ms. Dubey has over 30 years of experience across airport operations, human resource management, and airport economic regulation. Over the course of her career, she has built deep expertise in these areas, underpinned by a strong record in leadership and institutional governance within India’s aviation sector. She has headed Industrial Relations at Regional and Corporate levels, managing complex labour matters and maintaining a record of zero work-hour loss due to industrial unrest. Her work has contributed to strengthening employee relations, trade union processes, workforce policies, and employee welfare and social security frameworks. As Regional Executive Director (Eastern Region), she oversaw key modernization and capacity enhancement initiatives, supporting improvements in regional connectivity, operational performance, and passenger experience. In her current role as Member (Human Resources), Ms. Dubey focuses on HR transformation, leadership development, succession planning, and workforce modernization, aligned with AAI’s Vision 2047 and the evolving needs of India’s aviation sector. Her presence on the Board reflects AAI’s commitment to inclusive leadership, sound governance, and long-term institutional development.
