Shri Pintu Yadav is a 2003-batch directly recruited Gazetted Officer of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), where he was appointed as an Assistant Commandant. He is presently serving on deputation as Joint Director (Training) in the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), Indian Aviation Academy Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. He holds a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Extension Education from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. After completing his basic training as an Assistant Commandant, Shri Yadav served in various disturbed and counter-insurgency areas across India, including Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur, Jharkhand, Punjab (Jalandhar), Assam, Chhattisgarh, and other operational locations such as Sukma, Bijapur, Dantewada, and Khunti. He also served at the Central Weapon Store, Rampur, and Has trained Armament Inspectors for CISF,ITBP,CRPF and Tripura State Rifles ,CoBRA Battalion. During his tenure with CoBRA Battalion 209 in Jharkhand, he played a significant role in an operation that resulted in the neutralisation of dreaded Maoist leader Budheshwar Oraon, who carried a reward of Rs 25 lakh, at Kadaldag Pahar, Gumla, Jharkhand. In recognition of his gallant service, he was awarded the Police Medal for Gallantry in July 2023. Subsequently, on his deputation to the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, Shri Yadav served as Regional Director at the regional offices in Itanagar, Guwahati, and Chandigarh. During his tenure, he also contributed to the establishment of a new regional office at DPAI, Hollongi, with a staff strength of four personnel. Has trained Armament Inspectors for CISF,ITBP,CRPF and Tripura State Rifles. Since 24 August 2026, Shri Yadav has been discharging his responsibilities as Joint Director (Training) in the Training Division of the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security at the Indian Aviation Academy, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. His distinguished service in operational assignments and his experience in regional administration reflect his commitment to professional excellence and public service.
