Purpose of the Course:
Operational Control Center or “OCC” for many airlines represents the coordination hub for a complete network of airlines. It is Mission Control of Airlines. The OCC includes Equipment Control, Flight Control, Maintenance Control, Crew Control, Commercial Control, Management of Irregular Operations, Meteorology, Radio, Security Command Center, and System Reroute. This team is critical in maintaining safe, and efficient flights operation for any airline. In the present scenario of the ever-changing and challenging environment in which airlines have to operate, it becomes pertinent for every Airline to have a dedicated OCC, which operates 24*7 and 365 days a year. For every Airline professional, it is imperative to know, how an Airline OCC functions, so that they can have a better understanding of the macro constraints under which an Airline Operations takes place. This will help them to appreciate the decisions taken by OCC during any disruption and work as a team, as per the plan made by their respective OCC’s. This course will provide insight into the way an Airline OCC functions.
