Purpose of the Course: To prepare participants with knowledge, skills and attitudes required to provide and maintain standard airfield signs in accordance with aerodrome layout characteristics and in compliance with DGCA Civil Aviation requirements, ICAO Annex-14, Vol-1 Learning Objectives: Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to: Appreciate importance of airfield signs for safe navigation of aircraft Provide standard Airfield Signs Verify availability and Conspicuity of Airfield Signs Maintain Airfield signs in serviceable conditions Target Population: Civil/Electrical Engineers, Terminal/Operation Managers, Architects/Planners, Project Engineers, ATCOs, Safety Manager, Aerodrome Inspectors/Auditors , Pilots and otherAviation stakeholders
