PURPOSE OF THE COURSE This course will make the candidates understand the cargo and its Handling procedures from acceptance till delivery. As different types of Cargo such as live animals, arms and ammunition, dangerous goods, human remains, machinery, perishables, Pharmaceuticals, personal effects-unaccompanied baggage, valuable cargo etc. are handled differently and booked accordingly. In view of the unprecedented situation due to COVID-19 outbreak, the demand & supply of cargo, specially medical supplies and Vaccines has increased within the country as well as globally.   LEARNING OBJECTIVES This program aims to meet the requirements of Cargo operations people at every Level who would like to be well versed with the cargo handling procedures for both domestic and International cargo. ·Understand the handling procedures for outbound cargo ·Understand the handling procedures for inbound cargo ·Understand the handling procedures for Transit/transshipment cargo Cargo Handling is a vital link in the Cargo supply chain. Efficient cargo handling means safer and easier cargo operations.
